Second Edit of 'Peephole'

In this edit we have deleted the scene where Mr Jones confides in friends due to the lighting. We will refilm this scene so we will be able to use it, as we feel it is a key scene in the entire film.

First Edit of 'Peephole'

Within the scene where Mr Jones confides in his friend, the lighting is very poor compared to others. Due to this lighting, it has made the whole scene look amateur making us decide against using it. We will be refilming this scene to make sure the whole film matches in quality. This first edit includes scenes that have not been cut down properly, we will continue to cut it down until we have agreed on an end product.

Our Final Shot List

Shots 1 2 3 4 5 6

This is the final shot list we used to create our film. The shots highlighted yellow are the shots we did not use in the end, due to us deciding against the idea or just not having enough time. The rest of the shots are coloured purple/lilac to show that those shots are used within our final film.

Fake blood and costume update

On Wednesday we filmed the scenes with Katie in her bedroom, we needed blood for one of the scenes so Hazel and Sophie created the fake blood, they made it by mixing together;

Ketchup
Water
Icing sugar
and red food colouring

We also decided to put Katie in an orange T-shirt to reflect youth and just grey tracksuit bottoms to show she is at home not at school.
For the last scene we put her in a creased white T-shirt and kept the same trousers on her, this shows her neglection as she is not wearing new clothes and they are not ironed. We had an idea that we could put her in a man's shirt, to add to the ambiguity of the result as the shirt may have been Mr Jones's. We didn't follow this idea because during the filming we couldn't get a man's shirt.

How we made the fake blood.
We added about half water and half ketchup together but it came out a lot runnier than we intented. We then added about 3tbsp of icing sugar with the intent to make the mixture thicker to create the realistic allusion of blood. When we had added enough icing sugar in to get the correct thickness. Finally, we added about 1tsp of red food colouring the make the mixture blood red. - Sophie

Filming Schedule

Film Schedule(1)

This is our filming schedule. We looked at planning for both weeks of the school timetable as we were unsure as which of the two weeks we would be allocated. The top section is a brief plan is week A (which we are NOT filming in) and the bottom section is week B (which we are filming in). This helps us to plan in advance where we will film and when so we are fully organised.
